Inventing the bellows in 1904, Fulton followed up with the manufacturing of its own tubes in the early 1930's. The processes of shaping, forming, and heat treating were developed by the company's technical staff of the time. Building upon this early expertise, continuing generations of the Fulton Company continued to refine the methods of tube-making with today's result of a core product that gives our bellows its uniqueness in appearance, performance, and reliability. With renewed emphasis of quality at every stage of the process, we routinely form seamless tubes with wall thickness down to 0.0025"; diameters from 0.170" to 3". Welded tubes of diameter up to 12" are made available to the bellows process.
